FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: combine harvester for root and tuber crops contains a frame. The frame has a top cutting device and a separating device. Vertical disc cutters are mounted behind the top cutting device. The diameter of the disc cutters depends on the depth of the location of the root and tuber crops. The cutters are mounted on an axis. The axis is fixed on the hinge frame. The frame is fixed on row spacings with the possibility of adjusting the cutters by depth. Cutting ploughshares are fixed behind the cutters. The ploughshares are coupled with a chain-slat conveyor. In the upper part of the ploughshare, soil-destroying rollers are provided. A slat-scraper conveyor is mounted above the ploughshares and the chain-slat conveyor. The conveyor scrapers are divergently installed on slats at an angle to the motion direction. The conveyor slats are covered with an elastic material. The drive of the conveyors is made from the gearbox through chain drives. The output units of the conveyors are arranged in the inner cavity of the drum loading conveyor. The loading conveyor has annular rods and tuber-gripping slats. In the upper part of the loading conveyor a receiving-pitched tray is provided. The lower unit of the slat-scraper conveyor is located on the axis of the vertical disc cutters. In the front part of the frame, the gearbox of the drum cutting apparatus drive is mounted. The cutting apparatus is controlled through a hydraulic cylinder. Unitizing the combine harvester for roots and tubers is made through the frame eyelets. The drive of all mechanisms of the combine harvester is made from the power takeoff shaft of the tractor through the cardan gear.

EFFECT: reducing the draft resistance, increasing the productivity and completely separating roots and tubers from the soil.
