FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device contains a DC source, a mechanism for mounting the electrode-tool relative to the workpiece surface to be treated, an electrolyte pumping mechanism, and is equipped with an automatic control system including a series-connected electrode-tool, a linear electric drive and a control unit. The output signal of the control unit is connected to the input of the drive, on the flat rotor of which the electrode-tool is rigidly fixed. In this case, the interelectrode gap adjuster is connected to the first input of the control unit, the output signal from the workpiece contact probe and the tool electrode is connected to the unit second input, and the output signal of the comparing element is connected to its third input, to one of the inputs of which the output signal of the reference power supply unit source is connected, and the output signal of the absorbed DC current loss sensor is connected the second input. The input of the DC current loss sensor is built into the DC source power supply circuit.
EFFECT: increase of geometrical accuracy and quality of processed workpieces.
