FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: process for producing olefins in which the hydrocarbon containing feedstock enters the cracking furnace, where the long-chain hydrocarbons containing hydrocarbon feedstock at least partially broken down into short-chain olefins including ethylene and propylene. When this gas, formed by cracking, sequentially passes through a lower section and an upper section of the wash column in countercurrent to a wash liquid media. The method is characterized in that in the lower section of the scrubber using a fraction enriched with petroleum ether, and in the upper section of the scrub column a water-rich fraction is used as wash media. Thus as the fraction enriched with petroleum ether, the hydrocarbon fraction is used, 80% of which boils at a temperature 130°C at atmospheric pressure wash column via plates technology is divided into a lower section and an upper section, wherein a plate is impassable for the fluid in a downward direction, from the plate, which divides the scrub column at a lower section and an upper section, taken liquid phase petroleum ether-water and a liquid phase of petroleum ether-water is separated into a liquid fraction of petroleum ether and the aqueous liquid fraction. The liquid fraction of petroleum ether at least partially enters the lower section of the scrubbing column as a fraction enriched with petroleum ether and a liquid aqueous phase at least partially into the upper section of the scrubbing column as a water-rich fraction.
EFFECT: use of the proposed method allows to simplify the cracking gas cleaning and reduce the amount of equipment used.
