SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the separation of heterogeneous suspensions by filtration in the field of centrifugal forces in secondary metallurgy. Centrifugal filtering apparatus for dense suspensions of gallium waste contains a rotor with a filter consisting of two conical plates connected by large bases with the formation of a filtering slit, drive rotation of the rotor, mechanisms for lowering and opening the plates, collections of filtrate and sediment. Collection of liquid metal from the twin cone is freely inserted into the body in the filtration zone. Upper plate with a smaller base is tightly connected to the flange of the loading glass with windows in the wall. Collection of solid sludge is inserted into the housing in the discharge zone.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the separation of dense suspensions.
