SUBSTANCE: method includes filtration of impurities by centrifugal apparatus in upper zone at temperature 400-450°C and cooling metal in lower zone up to 340-330°C by blowing with nitrogen, granulated sulfur and wood dust. The centrifugal apparatus is disclosed for refining lead, in which in cylindrical segregation zone there is additionally a grid with isolation of a settling zone in which a metal conduit is lowered for lead discharge, and a gas line for supplying reagents with nitrogen at the grid level lowered into the middle part. The height of the segregation zone and settling zone is 2-3 times greater than the height of the filtration zone. The volume of filtration zone is 10-15% less than the volume of segregation and settling zones. The filtering, segregation and settling zones are separated by grids of diamond-shaped fire bars.
EFFECT: reduced yield of slips due to simultaneous filtration and segregation operations.
