FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: preliminary combining the weld zone in the welded products. The negative potential is applied to them and the weld zone is immersed in the electrolyte. A conductive plate is also immersed into the electrolyte, onto which a positive potential is applied. A voltage is established between the cathode, which is the welded articles or materials, and the anode, which is the electrolyte, in the range 50≤U≤1000 V and discharge current in the range from 1≤I≤500 A. The discharge is ignited between the welded products. The welding time is set for at least 1 second. As electrolyte, aqueous solutions of salts or acids or alkalis with a hydrogen index in the range of 2≤pH≤11.
EFFECT: ensuring the welding of products from aluminium and its alloys in a non-inert environment without reducing the technological parameters of aluminium.
