FIELD: welding.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for welding of products with a developed outer and inner surface of aluminum or its alloys with steels in a steam-gas medium. Workpieces with a thickness of 1-3 mm are combined, one of which is made of aluminum or its alloy, and the other one is made of steel. They are immersed in electrolyte to a contact depth corresponding to a welding zone, and a negative potential is supplied to them. A conductor is immersed in electrolyte, to which a positive potential is supplied and voltage from 200 to 400 V is applied with discharge current from 5 to 100 A, providing formation of low-temperature plasma in the contact zone, to obtain a welded joint between welded workpieces, wherein aqueous salt solutions are used as electrolyte.

EFFECT: method provides obtainment of welded joints of products of aluminum or its alloys with steel without the use of inert gases, without filler wire and preliminary mechanical or chemical purification of welded surfaces.
