FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: for normalization of increased intraocular pressure after drainage surgery of secondary neovascular glaucoma in patients with diabetes mellitus, a contact transscleral diode laser cyclocoagulation is carried out, involving laser applications made by a diode laser in the areas 4.0-4.5 mm from the limb in the upper and lower quadrant of the eyeball, with an exposure of 3 seconds, power of 1200 mW, impact energy 3.6 J. The total number of applications is from 16 to 24. The applications are carried out so that they do not overlap each other and the projection area of the tube of a drainage installed earlier.
EFFECT: method allows to achieve IOP compensation after previous drainage surgery.
