FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves applying infrared laser radiation having wavelength of 810 nm. Transciliary contact-mode laser cyclocoagulation is first applied. Then, conjunctival pocket is formed and superficial rectangular scleral flap is cut out. Deep triangular scleral flap is cut out and excised with ciliary body area being exposed. The exposed ciliary body area is covered with 0.1 ml of viscous gel. Hyaluronic acid or methyl cellulose preparations are used as the viscous gel. Transciliary posterior eye chamber drainage is carried out by means of laser radiation having wavelength of 810 nm in single 5-7 s long pulse, power of 1.5 W until aqueous fluid filtration takes place from the posterior eye chamber.
EFFECT: achieved intraocular pressure compensation after operation; reduced risk of complications; enhanced effectiveness of treatment in remote postoperative period.
