SUBSTANCE: borehole device for damping the rotational vibrations of the drill string contains the stabilising elements, extending radially outward from the housing, which during the operation is built-in the drill string with ability to rotate, to stabilise the drill string by means of interaction with the bore hole wall. The stabilising elements are mounted in the housing with ability to displace for provision the ability of their limited angular movement relative to the housing around its rotational axis. The borehole device contains the hydraulic damping mechanism, adapted to damp relative the angular displacement of the stabilising elements relative to the housing, thereby providing the housing torsional vibration damping and connected drill string during the operation.
EFFECT: stabilisation of the drill string and the borehole torsional vibrations reduction in the drill string to the minimum value.
