The dispensing device (2) comprises a cover (10) facing upward when using the dispensing device (2). The dispensing device (2) comprises a first biasing device for urging a stack of sheets of sheet material to the cover (10) and dispensing aperture (12) located therein. A cassette (16) comprises a reservoir (6) and is movable to a position at least partially outside the housing (4). A cassette (16) has an opening (18) for refilling the sheets of sheet material, mentioned hole (18) of refilling is available when the cassette (16) is in a position at least partially outside the housing (4). The dispensing device (2) comprises a second biasing device configured to bias the cassette (16) in the vertical direction towards the position at least partially outside the housing (4).
