FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: vitrectomy lens is composed of a lens transparent in the visible range with a diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the lining ring and a lower concave optical surface with a curvature radius close to the curvature radius of the eye cornea outer surface. At that the optically transparent lens is rigidly fixed inside the ferromagnetic with the ability to be anchored to the magnet.
EFFECT: reduced likelihood of mechanical damage to the corneal tissue when removing lenses from the lining ring, improved quality of the recorded image.
