SUBSTANCE: in the plane products transportation method and device, in particular for bagged bag bodies, one by one in their longitudinal direction separately or interconnected, the products are transported in the longitudinal direction of transportation to the working area. A cutting device is provided in the working area. From the working area, the products are transported in a transverse transportation direction perpendicular to the longitudinal transportation direction. In the working area, there is at least one product holder extending transversely across the width of the product, which is mounted to be moved between the holding position and the open position, for the purpose of temporarily stationary holding of the product in the working area. At least one product holder comprises at least two holding portions that are offset from each other in the transverse direction, which, when viewed in the transverse transportation direction, are arranged to be transferred successively from the front in advance from the open position to the holding position.
EFFECT: increased capacity of products in the work area.
