FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: receiver is proposed. It comprises of a broadcast receiver capable of receiving one of several images in the form of a broadcast stream through a broadcast system. A reference time tag is added to these several images. The several indicated images are to be synchronized and played. The receiver also includes a communication receiver capable of receiving the other of said multiple images as a communication stream through a communication network, a criterial time generator configured to generate a criterial time based on the reference time tag from the broadcast stream (this criterial time is used to generate a clocksignal for said several images) and a regulating module configured to adjust the criterial time based on the delay value of the reference time tag from the communication stream in relation to the criterial time.
EFFECT: when two streams of images, that are transmitted separately through the broadcast system and the Internet, provide efficient synchronization and replay of the two image streams.
