FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an apparatus and an analysis method which provides a user with an indication that a sufficient amount of an analyzed sample is used for an accurate result. Disclosed is an analyte for detecting an analyte in a liquid sample, comprising a sample receiving element (1) in fluid communication with at least two components (2, 3) defining an analyzed flow channel, at least one of which is detection element (3) comprising an analyte detection region (31); and a sample detection element, which is in contact with the analyzed flow channel, located upstream of the analyte detection area and configured to detect liquid at a certain point along the analyzed flow channel; and a display system configured to provide a response to a user during sampling as a result of the fluid sample reaching the sample detection element, to indicate that sufficient sample quantity is supplied to analysis device. Invention also discloses a method and use of said device for displaying and reporting to a user on sufficiency of a sample used for analysis.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides an indication that a sufficient amount of the sample is used directly during sampling.
