FIELD: pharmacology.

SUBSTANCE: extract of spinach leaves, containing dry or liquid concentrate of biologically active substances, at that, the concentrate is enriched with 20-hydroxyecdysone in an amount from 1 to 20 mg per 1 g of dry matter, does not contain oxalates, is obtained by water extraction of spinach leaves and centrifugation, further extract ultrafiltration followed by solid-phase extraction of phytoecdysteroids using hydrophobic sorbents by passing the low molecular weight fraction through the sorbent or adding the sorbent to the low molecular weight fraction and incubating for 1 hour, then the sorbent is washed with water and phytoecdysteroids desorption is performed.

EFFECT: extract is enriched with phytoecdysteroids, does not contain oxalates, which avoids accumulation of oxalates contained in the raw material, which provoke kidney stones formation, in the enriched product.
