SUBSTANCE: invention is designed to simplify the selection processing in user equipment (UE) of the route in wireless local area network (WLAN) for the traffic flow and improve the efficiency of data transmission. In particular, the invention discloses a data transmission method that is receiving indication information, by means of UE, transmitted by an access node of cellular access network, where the indication information includes a filtering condition and indication information is used for instructing the UE to transmit, using WLAN, a traffic flow that satisfies the filtering condition; it is being determined, by means of UE, in accordance with the indication information, that the first traffic flow satisfies the filtering condition; and, by means of UE, the first traffic stream is transmitted using WLAN. Therefore, according to the indication of access node of cellular access network, the UE can select traffic flow using WLAN, so that the UE ends the WLAN route selection for the traffic flow and adjustment of cellular access network carrier in time.
