FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: workpiece made in the injection moulding tool is removed in a cooled extraction cup and cooled in the axial part by intensive contact cooling, while the workpiece dome is mostly free of contact cooling due to a special cooled cup circuit. Due to the possible re-heating of this dome, it can be mechanically moulded in a new geometry, preferred for the blowing process, and at the same time, the wall thickness can also be influenced.
EFFECT: plastic material better distributed in a bottle can lead to a greater material saving and a high-quality full-fledged bottle bottom.
