FIELD: rescue work.
SUBSTANCE: automatic activation device for "man overboard" alerting contains a life jacket and a "man overboard" warning device. The automatic activation device is additionally equipped with a transceiver, that is made using ZigBee technology and is in constant interaction with a ZigBee sensor on the life jacket belt, and an RFID reader with an autonomous power supply, built into it. The RFID reader and the autonomous power supply are located at the top of the life jacket in the immediate proximity of the "man overboard" warning device with a built-in passive RFID tag that communicates with the RFID reader in the absence of a permanent radio contact with the ZigBee sensor.
EFFECT: increase of autonomy and reliability of work.
