SUBSTANCE: method includes determining the simulated function of the gases emission norm EM(t) for a ruminant animal, determining the moments of eating fodder by a ruminant animal, constructing the assumed real function of the emission norm ER(t) based on the simulated function of the emission norm and the moments of eating fodder, integration of ER(t) from T0 to T given. A device for estimating emissions of greenhouse gases is also provided, which is made with the possibility of implementing said method.

EFFECT: group of inventions allows to adjust the calculations to establish the emissions of greenhouse gases in animals with knowing the moments of feeding an animal.
