SUBSTANCE: method for forestry machine operation control is proposed. The method comprises the step of data collection in the central unit of forest machine control or other forestry machine control unit describing operation and/or condition and/or environment surrounding the forestry machine, the said data including one or more parameters. Further, according to the method, the collected data is processed in the central unit of forestry machine control or in another control unit of the forestry machine to assess the speed of driver's actions, and the quality of the control operations performed by the forestry machine driver is evaluated based on the collected data, and the parameters governing the forestry machine operation are influenced on the basis of the processed data.
EFFECT: provision of the ability to determine the change in the speed of driver's actions.
