SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the application method of the protective coating from TiN and (Ti+V)N layers to the backplate from the titanium alloy VT-6. Simultaneously provide the TiN and (Ti+V)N layers spraying on the titanium alloy VT-6 backplate, using two electric arc evaporators, with alternating the application time of each layer and the amount of spraying material from each of the cathodes of the electric arc evaporators under the inert gas atmosphere. In this case, the mentioned backplate is prelimenary subjected to the plastic deformation by depositing it on the Bridgman strikers with the compressive specific pressure of 3-6 GPa applied and further twisting to obtain the shearing strain, when the mobile Bridgman striker is rotated relative to its axis at the speed of 0.2-1 rpm.

EFFECT: increase of the coating adhesive strength at the titanium alloy backplate VT-6.
