FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: method for continuously and automatically determining stickiness levels during the production of a secondary pulp using Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR spectroscopy) in conjunction with one or more automatic sheet forming machines includes: - determining the stickiness levels for a series of samples using a standard laboratory analytical procedure, use of the obtained results as reference values to create one or more calibration models based on BIC- Spectroscopy and storage of data set (s) of the calibration model (s) in the electronic memory device - automatic sampling at least one sampling point in the production line, transportation of the sample from the processing line to a sampling line into at least one automatic sheet forming machine, forming a sheet from a sample and drying this sheet; - transporting the dried sheet formed in step (b) to the measurement zone and recording for this spectral sheet in the near infrared region to obtain spectral data, - processing the spectral data obtained in step (c) on the computer using at least one of the stored calibration model and obtaining for each calibration model an output of the stickiness level in the process of obtaining the secondary pulp.
