FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of suppressing deposition of organic contaminants in systems for production of cellulose and paper. Method comprises adding to system for production of cellulose and paper composition, which includes non-sulphated or slightly sulphonated lignins and hydrophobically modified water-soluble polymers and/or compositions containing two or more slightly sulphonated lignins. Slightly sulphonated lignin has a degree of sulphonation of less than 3.5 moles of sulphur per 1 kg of lignin.
EFFECT: preventing and/or suppressing deposition of sticky and resinous contaminants on surfaces in cellulose and paper production systems.
