FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: electromechanical device for cutting sphagnum moss with several cutting edges comprises a movable knife and a fixed knive, installed in the housing, as well as an electromagnetic vibrator with a rotary armature. The movable knife by means of an arm is connected to the rotary armature. The device is suspended by means of a cable suspension 3 on a rotary crossarm 1, is equipped with a frame 10 and connected by a cable 6 to an alternator. The rotary crossarm 1 is installed on a swamp transport means.
EFFECT: frame 10 allows to control and limit the length of moss turf being cut and to leave lower living moss stems for their further growth.
