FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: system for controlling and monitoring the power and energy consumed by the transport system contains traction substations connected via radio communication with the on-board radio modems on electric locomotives. Each traction substation contains a voltage sensor and a current sensor. Voltage and current sensors are connected to the traction substation controlling and monitoring device, which is connected to the central data collecting and dispatcher energy processing device. On board the electric locomotives, voltage and current sensors are connected to the on-board controlling and monitoring unit, which is connected via the on-board bus to the on-board satellite navigation receiver and the on-board radio modem. To the on-board controlling and monitoring unit, a registration signal generating module and a temporary slot number storing module are connected. At each traction substation, a radio modem controlling unit is introduced, consisting of a microprocessor, a registration signal receiver, a train number memory unit, a time slot determining unit, a data processing unit.
EFFECT: expanding the system functionality for controlling and monitoring power.
