FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: background plate for the rail mounting point (B) has a side support portion (9, 19) which has a side binding face (14, 24) which terminates a support surface (15) formed on the upper side (O) of the background plate (1) for the base (SF) of the rail (S) mounted on the background plate (1). In order to carry the spike (50) of the tie to the edged zone (10, 20) of the support portion (9, 19) adjacent to the side binding face (14, 24), a through hole (28-31) which has a polyhedral main shape in cross section is formed, guiding from the upper side (O) to the lower side (U) of the support portion (9, 19). The surface (11, 21) of the edged zone (10, 20) meets with the binding face (14, 24) at the upper edge (13, 23). The lateral surface (32) of the through hole (28-31) adjacent to the binding face (14, 24) at least by part of its height (H) passes into the inclined surface (36), which is lifted towards the upper edge (13, 23) of the binding face (14, 24) and terminates at the surface (11, 21) of the edged zone (10, 20). The invention also relates to a rail mounting point, wherein a rail for a rail vehicle is fixed to a base including a tie (7), the mentioned background plate (1) and at least one spike (50).
EFFECT: high performance properties of the background plate are provided for a long time, reliable fastening of the rail is achieved.
