FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fluid hydrodynamics, in particular, to the devices for study of hydraulic resistance decreasing agents, for example, polymer anti-turbulent additives (PATA) or surface-active substances (SAS), and may be used to create hydrodynamic benches for the study of hydrocarbon fluids and testing their additives, which decrease the hydrodynamic resistance. The unit for efficiency estimation of hydraulic resistance decreasing agents includes two containers for hydrocarbon fluid, equipped with thermostats, a pipeline, which has a control section connecting the two containers, a differential pressure transmitter, temperature sensor and flow meter, installed on the control section. Inside the containers there is a piston, adapted to displace the hydrocarbon fluid at a specified rate proving for turbulent conditions of hydrocarbon fluid flow down the control section.
EFFECT: increased measuring accuracy of hydrodynamic resistance decrease in hydrocarbon fluid with anti-turbulent additives, injected into the fluid, while it flows in the pipeline.
