SUBSTANCE: adsorbent of the radioactive material for adsorbing radioactive strontium in water contains a titanate powder represented by the chemical formula K2Ti2O5. The titanate powder is formed into granular particles using a binder, the said granular particles having a diameter in the range of 150-3000 mcm. There is also an adsorption vessel, a column and a device for water treatment.

EFFECT: group of inventions allows to create an adsorption material with high mechanical strength, which reduces sputtering due to vibration, impact during transport.
