SUBSTANCE: device for fracturing a geological hydrocarbon formation is provided comprising two packers (102, 103) forming a closed space (104) between each other in a well drilled in the formation, a regulator for regulating the temperature of the fluid in said enclosed space, a pair of two electrodes (106) located in said enclosed space and an electric circuit for generating an electric arc between said two electrodes. The circuit comprises at least one voltage source connected to the electrodes (106) and an induction coil between the voltage source and one of the two electrodes.
EFFECT: Increasing the efficiency of hydraulic fracturing.
