FIELD: oil-and-gas production.
SUBSTANCE: invention related to methods of control crack development hydraulic fracturing and its geometry, particularly by changing electromagnetic or acoustic field, emitted from crack's end and edge. The invention can be in used for oil-and-gas field or coal industry. Method involves use of at least one well, pumping into borehole hydraulic fracturing fluid under pressure. Fluid with a high electrical conduction is used as a hydraulic fracturing fluid in relation to stratum with low electrical conduction. Electrical voltage applies to hydraulic fracturing fluid during the hydraulic fracturing process via electrodes. One electrode connected with hydraulic fracturing fluid, the other one grounded. Crack geometry defines according to sensors data. According to invention: pulse train applies to hydraulic fracturing fluid. Grounded electrode installed distantly from the electrode connected with hydraulic fracturing fluid, away enough to avoid "hydraulic fracturing fluid - grounded electrode" system electrical discharge in initial moment of time just after voltage impulse received from well at stage correspondent to hydraulic fracturing fluid recharge completion. At least in one well electromagnetic field parametres and/or acoustic signals, accrued as result of voltage impulse applied to hydraulic fracturing fluid, to be measured and additionally coordinate of the crack tip to be defined.
EFFECT: method effectiveness increase due to simplification and increase in measurement accuracy.
