FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing such polymers is proposed, which comprises providing a ring opening having a plurality of siloxane repeating units of a compound of a specific structure, combining them to form a reaction mixture and carrying out the reaction under conditions where the catalyst expands at least a portion of the cyclosiloxane repeating units to form crosslinking groups, and at least a portion of the crosslinking groups react with other siloxane molecules to produce crosslinks between the molecules, forming a crosslinked silicone polymer. A kit for producing a crosslinked silicone polymer is also provided.
EFFECT: method allows to obtain crosslinked polymers suitable for use as sealants, without the formation of a significant amount of volatile reaction products.
