SUBSTANCE: light-emitting diode comprising a semiconductor crystal, an anode and a cathode electrically connected to various regions of the crystal, and a sealing material obtained by curing a siloxane compound containing a plurality of cyclosiloxane repeating units of a defined structure using a ring-opening catalyst, are proposed.
EFFECT: as a result of the sealing material use that cures without the use of expensive platinum catalysts and without the emission of volatile organic compounds, the process of obtaining a light-emitting diode is more technological and economical, compared to the known analogues.
