FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing a hydrophobic coating is described, during implementation of which hydrophobic material from a solution in supercritical CO2 is precipitated on a substrate surface with a rough surface characterized by a ratio r>1, where r is the roughness factor determined by the area ratio of the real surface and its geometric projection onto the plane. The substrate with the hydrophobic material is placed in a reactor, the reactor is sealed and a solution is created therein in supercritical CO2 with a concentration of 0.001-100 g/l, and precipitation is carried out at a pressure from 7 to 100 MPa and a temperature from 35 to 200°C for a time from 15 minutes to 24 hours, followed by decompression, characterized in that fluoroparaffin is used as the hydrophobic precipitation material, the fluoroparaffin is precipitated in the volume of the high-temperature porous ceramic material, the decompression rate is 1-60 ml/h. A hydrophobic porous ceramic material is also described.
EFFECT: porous material with a water repellent ability is obtained.
