SUBSTANCE: method for determining the concentration of mechanical impurities in liquid or gaseous media is to pass the light flux through the volume of the controlled medium and measure the characteristics of the light flux that has passed through the controlled medium by the photoelectric element. In this case, the voltage U at the output of the photoelectric element is measured, and the concentration K of mechanical impurities is calculated by the formula: K=UC, where C is a predetermined constant coefficient of U versus K.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of the measurement by eliminating the influence of the flow of liquid or gas on the measurement of the concentration of pollution particles in a liquid or gaseous medium while simplifying the method.
