FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method for titanium implants surface modification involves preliminary mechanical cleaning and chemical surface treatment in a phosphoric acid solution, followed by washing with distilled water and ethyl alcohol, oxidation in the air atmosphere. A layer of titanium hydrolysis products is applied to the formed dense layer of rutile by implant immersion into the sol obtained by titanium tetrachloride hydrolysis, upon calcination, a layer of biologically active anatase of island structure is firmly bound to rutile.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce the survival rate of microorganisms by 3 times.
