FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: catalytic converter protection system contains a controller, a catalytic converter with a casing, a closing element that has two terminals, and a connector having an internal resistor. The closing element is mechanically attached to the housing. The connector is electrically connected to the controller and attached with the possibility of removal to two terminals. The controller controls the internal resistance of the resistor to determine continuity between connector and the lock element.
EFFECT: increasing the protection of catalytic converter.
