SUBSTANCE: invention is a method for prediction of complications in a patient in the acute period of polytrauma by examination of blood and urine indicators, characterized by determination of glucose concentration, total protein and sodium in the blood serum, fibrinogen in plasma, urine protein, the number of leukocytes and platelets in whole blood, activated partial thromboplastin time, thrombin time and prothrombin index at patient's admission, results comparison with the norm and evaluation of the probability of fatal outcome and complications in the form of pneumonia, fat embolism and suppuration.

EFFECT: method allows to assess the patient's condition at an early stage and predict the development of complications of the acute period of polytrauma, to take the necessary preventive and curative actions in time.
