FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: to isolate high-risk structures in virtual imaging during an intervention procedure in the body cavity, a CT scan of the body cavity is performed, segmenting the body lumen and the high-risk structure. Relative distances between the body cavity and the high-risk structure are determined. Virtual visualization of the body cavity interior is created, lumen wall areas are marked in different colours, depending on the relative distance.

EFFECT: safe access to a high-risk structure during an interventional procedure through the use of a simulation program.
