FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: for the regeneration of an absorption moisture separator, two reservoirs (3a, 3b) connected in parallel to each other and filled with a drying agent are used. During the drying phase, a flow of compressed air produced by a compressor (1) passes through the reservoir (3a), and a dry compressed air stream passes through the reservoir (3b) during the regeneration phase taking place at the same time, in order to dehydrate the drying agent. In the normal mode, switching the reservoirs (3a, 3b) between the drying phase and the regeneration phase is carried out by means of valves (2a, 2b). After the normal operating mode is completed, dry compressed air used for the re-regeneration of the reservoirs (3a, 3b) is withdrawn through a pipeline (8) from the main air stream back-flowing through a pipeline (5) from the receiver (6) to start the next operating mode of the absorption moisture separator with the completely regenerated drying reservoirs (3a, 3b).

EFFECT: increasing the device operation reliability, the efficiency of regenerating the moisture separator, increasing the duration of use of the drying agent.
