FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: prosthetic atrioventricular valve contains annular supporting structure 3 attached to the valve ring and a single long valve shutter 5 of flexible material, maintained in a floating state by the supporting structure. The supporting structure has a part in the form of load bearing wall 31, to which valve leaflet fixed end 51 is connected, and a part in the form of additional wall 32, opposite the bearing wall and fitted with static or quasi-static one coaptation surface 33, with which loose end 52 of valve leaflet 5 can be hermetically coupled and which runs in a direction parallel to the direction of loose end 52 movement. The free end of valve leaflet 5 is connected to bearing wall 31 or to additional wall 32 by means of puller 55 of flexible material, the length of which is selected so that loose end 52 of valve leaflet 5 stops at coaptation surface 33. The supporting structure 3 has a D-shaped cross-section. A method for manufacturing an atrioventricular valve prosthesis is disclosed.

EFFECT: provision of valve coaptation during its seamless implantation.
