FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: laser Doppler flowmetry (LDF) is performed. Blood microcirculation index is determined. Measurement is carried out at a distance of not more than 1 cm from the wound edge, every 3 cm to the right and to the left along the wound length. The measurement is carried out for 3 minutes at each point on the 1st, 3rd, 5th day of the postoperative period. If a blood perfusion rate is above 11.9 per. units, the presence of the surgical infection is diagnosed.
EFFECT: allows to perform diagnostics of surgical infections at the early preclinical stage, timely correct wound infection treatment, and reduce the patient's stay in the hospital.
