FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to general surgery, and can be used to predict the development of wound infection in the early postoperative period. Preoperative and postoperative laser Doppler flowmetry is performed for 1-3 days. Following local blood microcirculation values are determined: microcirculation index before operation (MI1) and after operation (MI2), preoperative (Mnutr1) and postoperative (Mnutr2) nutritional blood flow, normalized amplitude of fluctuations of cardiac factor of microcirculation control before operation (Ac1) and after operation (Ac2). Then values of these parameters are compared. If simultaneously MI2 is less than MI1 by 10% or more, Mnutr2 is less than Mnutr1 by 18% or more, and Ac2 is less than Ac1 by 10% or more, then a high risk of wound infection is predicted.
EFFECT: method allows improving accuracy and objectivity of prediction of wound infection in early postoperative period in abdominal surgery.
