FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: puncture of the right radial artery is performed in a typical place. The introducer is installed. Coronarography is performed from the transradial approach. The bilateral coronary catheter is pulled up to the aortic arch and rotated so that the tip looks toward the descending aorta, then advanced until the catheter forms a tip of the JL type. Then the catheter tip is sent to the side of the examined artery mouth. The angiograph works in the peripheral arteries shooting mode. Alternate catheterization of the left subclavian artery, the left common carotid artery, the brachiocephalic trunk is performed with the introduction of a contrast preparation and obtaining of angiograms of the corresponding vascular pools. At that, angiography is performed on respiratory arrest and in the absence of patient movements, and contrasting of each artery is performed in at least two projections, then the catheter is removed.
EFFECT: method allows to avoid unnecessary traumatization of tissues, provides an increase in information and completeness of the examination in case of a systemic disease such as atherosclerosis, reduces the risks associated with radiation exposure, reduces the amount of contrast medication administered to the patient as compared with implementation of separate diagnostic methods, reduces risks associated with the beginning of intensive medical activities, creates a more complete picture for determination of the tactics of patient treatment, reduces costs of diagnostic tests.
