FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for removing gases from the coke furnace involves injection of gases during the coke furnace loading by feeding a high pressure injection agent which is nitrogen supplied to gas outlet standpipes and at a pressure of 0.15-0.6 MPa and 120-200 m/s rate. At that, nitrogen is fed to the gas outlet standpipes 1.0-0.5 minutes before the start of the coke furnace loading, the supply of nitrogen ends 0.5-1.0 min after the end of the coke furnace loading, and the total duration of the nitrogen supply to the gas outlet standpipes is 4-8 min.
EFFECT: reducing the cost of gas with drawl from the coke furnace and reducing the amount of coke furnce gas emissions into the atmosphere.
