FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: appliance for underground assembled steel sections cathodic protection comprises a non-conducting chassis in which there are anode and cathode supplied with the interconnecting lines. The anode is comprised of a tyre-tread alloy and is housed within the first powdered activating agent. The cathode is designed as a copper-bearing ring shaped element that is housed within the chassis. There is the second activating agent within the ring shaped element. It involves the powdered carbonaceous fault material. The anode with the first activating agent is set within the ring shaped element in the midst of the second activating agent. The chassis is supplied with the tube at the top part.
EFFECT: improvement of a under formation protection potential on the assembled steel sections which are in the high-resistivity ground irrespective of soil dampness.
