SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for bacterial vaginosis treatment or prevention, bacterial vaginosis recurrence prevention, and bacterial vaginosis symptoms alleviation or prevention in a subject. The methods comprise administration of an effective amount of a macromolecule, a polylysine-based dendrimer, polyamidoamine or poly(propyleneimine) of generations 1-5 and one or more sulfonic acid-containing functional groups attached thereto.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of treatment.
