SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to methods for mammalian teats treatment or protection against mastitis or mammalian teats treatment or protection against dryness, cracking, or formation of deep cracks in skin. The method comprises application of the composition for topical administration to teats, where the topical formulation contains citrate, methylene blue and alkyl parahydroxybenzoate. The composition may further comprise an alcohol and a gelling agent or a cross-linking agent. It also applies to kits containing these compositions.
EFFECT: increased protection.
