FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes introduction of modifier into melt. The melt contains ultra-dispersed refractory particles and additionally 55-65% of metal particles interacting with the melt components. The modifier is added to the melt heated to 1520-1620°C in the form of a briquette with density of 1.02-1.10 of melt density and porosity 0.5-4.0%.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to introduce the modifier without significant changes in the structure of the melting-filling equipment, and provides uniform distribution of refractory particles in the melt volume and prevents dissolution, coagulation and surfacing of refractory particles which will lead to production of an alloy with high strength characteristics and fine-grained homogeneous structure.
