SUBSTANCE: embodiments of the invention comprise devices, systems and/or wireless communication methods in an energy-saving state. For example, a wireless network interface may be configured to interface a wireless communication device and a wireless network. The wireless network interface may comprise a controller for receiving an indication of the energy-saving state of the wireless communication device and for generating an information element (IE) comprising the transmission filtering information (Tx) defining the allowed frames that are allowed to be transmitted to the wireless communication device in the energy-saving state; and a transmission device for transmitting IE over the wireless network.
EFFECT: reducing the power consumption of the mobile device.
